The Office of State Relations serves as the university's liaison
to state government, with particular emphasis on the
Governor's
office and
the
Legislature. The office is actively involved with the annual budget process,
capital appropriations and bond issues, and all legislation and regulation
affecting the university, our students, faculty, and staff. We are committed
to communicating to our state officials the critical value of Rutgers to
New Jersey and the nation. And in that vein, we work to make Rutgers’ myriad
resources available to aid our state policy makers in their important work.
